24-HOUR CLASS CANCELLATION 


When cancelling a group fitness class, please allow a minimum of 24 hour’s notice so that others have the opportunity to join. There is a  $10 fee for any class cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time. No-shows will also be charged a $10 fee.

Styles

MOVEMENT STYLES

Cardio Chisel
This class focuses on endurance weight lifting. Each major muscle will be effectively toned and trained for a full body resistance training workout. Class is infused with short bursts of cardio output.

 

Core Chisel
This class focuses on endurance weight lifting. Each major muscle will be effectively toned and trained for a full body resistance training workout. The class ends with a long session of abdominal work.

High Energy
Improve your cardio capacity quickly in this class! Various methods of training are incorporated to challenge the body in numerous ways and to keep "mixing it up!"

HIIT Tabata
Combine the best of two training styles! Enjoy traditional Tabata system workouts mixed with high intensity interval training for maximum calorie burn.

KnockOut Workout
Get put through the paces with this traditional kickboxing program. Use pads, gloves and weights to improve strength, stamina, and technique. Open to beginner/novice participants, however all levels are welcome.

Pilates Barre
This class isolates the major muscles of the body for a burn that is like no other! Enjoy the lengthening, toning effects of ballet and Pilates, fused with intense focus and determination.


Circuit
Utilizes the Bridge system, a piece of equipment that involves Super Functional bars, monkey bars, kickboxing bags and more, while taking participants through a circuit style workout.

 

HIIT
This High Intensity Interval Class utilizes the Bridge system, a piece of equipment that involves Super Functional bars, monkey bars, kickboxing bags and more!  Expect to sweat!

 

TRX
Utilizes the Bridge system, a piece of equipment that involves Super Functional bars, monkey bars, kickboxing bags and more, with a focus on TRX training.

Deb Plath

Certifications: AFFA Personal Training Certification., BASI Pilates,. Zumba Dance, TRX., Johnny G Spin training and Booty Barre certification. Deb has been teaching group classes in the Vail Valley for over 25 years. Deb’s own fitness routines led her into personal training, Pilates equipment, and private group classes. Living in the mountains it gives so many options outdoors, winter, summer and fall for activities. As a trainer, Deb loves giving as many options indoors too.

Certifications: NASM CPT, TRX Suspension. Christy has always had a love for being active and helping others. She grew up in the valley and loves to hike with her dog, run, snowboard, and laugh with friends. Working out has always been a hobby and she enjoys assisting others in reaching their fitness goals.  Her desire to help others accomplish weight loss and overall fitness goals developed after she was able to conquer her lifelong struggle of being overweight. 

 

She worked diligently for many years on her diet as well as staying active to finally see her hard work pay off when she lost 30 pounds.  She strives to hold people accountable for one of life’s most difficult obstacles.  Because she’s conquered the task of weight loss herself, she knows what it takes and wants to share her knowledge and help others see the results they’ve been dreaming of for years.

Jessica grew up in Iowa but has called Colorado home since 2008. Her love for fitness started in college and has evolved into a passion for sharing a healthy and balanced life with other people. Jessica believes everyone deserves to feel strong, healthy, and confident while enjoying life at the same time. She is a Certified Health Coach who truly values the relationship with each of her clients and loves to watch them thrive and transform. She is excited to debut this small group training “Intensive Barre and Sculpt” to help members reach a new level of strength, poise and fitness. When she’s not working, Jessica enjoys the Colorado sunshine, playing golf, and traveling with her husband.

Indoor Cycling Classes | Josiah Middaugh

Josiah Middaugh, NSCA - CSCS

Josiah Middaugh is the 2015 XTERRA World Champion. An 11-time XTERRA USA World Champion and 6-time USSSA National Snowshoe Champion, Middaugh is well known throughout the Vail Valley as an elite level, multi-disciplined athlete. He coaches the Athletic Club’s Masters Swim program and coaches athletes of all levels and aspirations through Middaugh Coaching.  He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA, and holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology.

Marina Hand

Marina Hand
 

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa; Marina lives for all the outdoor offerings the Colorado mountains have to offer. Certified in Barre at the Barre Forte studios in Denver and Advanced Choreography with Definitive Barre Fitness, her classes aim to tone and burn our favorite areas, accompanied by upbeat dance tunes to cheer you on through the finish.

Mike Dorr
 

Mike Dorr is a CPT with TRX, Gym Jones Level 1 and Strong first Kettlebell Instructor Course certifications, and a special place in his heart for core & Olympic lifts.  His workouts engage multiple muscle groups.  He strives from strength improvement and lean muscle development with each client.  He is passionate about form first before adding weight.

Nathalie Joly
 

Certifications: CGT, Basi Pilates Mat, TRX, Barre Forte, Tabata, P90X & Insanity, Total Body Strength Conditioning. Nathalie was born and raised in Belgium, until she moved to the Vail Valley where she has been living since 1991. She loves teaching a variety of group classes and helping people achieve their goals by promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

Nina Aley

Nina is passionate about helping clients find sustainable and enjoyable fitness routines that help them reach their personal goals and improve their quality of life. She has begun teaching Bootcamp, HIIT and Barre classes at the ACW, as well as working with clients as a personal trainer. She is a certified ISSA CPT and Nutritionist, ACE-Group Fitness Instructor, Barre Intensity, Zumba Dance, 200-hr Yoga Teacher.

Suzie Snyder

Suzie is a five-time Xterra National Champion who holds a master's degree in exercise science and a slew of coaching certifications. She loves helping others get faster and understand their bodies, and she still loves racing at the highest level. Certifications include: Master’s Degree from Springfield College (MA) in Exercise Science/Strength and Conditioning; NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS); USA Cycling Level 3 Coach; USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach; Certified Xterra Triathlon Coach; USATF Level 1 Coach.

Tamara Donelson

Certifications: Saris Power Cycling Instructor, ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, New Leaf Metabolic Assessment Administrator, APSI Level 3 Certified Ski Instructor, Peak Pilates Chair Certified, American Heart Association-CPR; Bachelor of Physical Education, Australian College of Physical Education; Certified Fitness Instructor – Fitness Institute of Australia

 

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Tam found herself chasing endless winters and living in Edwards, Colorado.  Dirt has taken the place of snow and this is where Tam spends her time. She embraces mountain biking, XTERRA triathlon or her new fall fun, Cyclocross – bring on the Mud!  Tam is a licensed USA Triathlon and USA cycling coach. 

 

She spends her days as a leading personal trainer and cycling coach at the Club. Inspired by helping people to discover their best performance, and surprise themselves in their own ability, she started Donelson Coaching where she coaches athletes of all levels. Tam also shares her passion for cycling through coaching The Cycle Effect, a non-profit organization that provides brighter futures to young women through mountain biking, which she co-founded with her husband.
