PILATES INSTRUCTORS

Deb Plath
Certifications: AFFA Personal Training Certification., BASI Pilates,. Zumba Dance, TRX., Johnny G Spin training and Booty Barre certification. Deb has been teaching group classes in the Vail Valley for over 25 years. Her biggest enjoyment over the years has been seeing people return week after week to do group classes and see them get stronger and fitter. Deb’s own fitness routines led her into personal training, pilates equipment, and private group classes. Living in the mountains it gives so many options outdoors, winter, summer and fall for activities. As a trainer Deb loves giving as many options indoors too. Her style of instruction tends toward more of an athletic style of Pilates. Deb believes a strong core and body keeps the body in tune: the flexibility and mobility that comes from Pilates classes makes your body feel longer. “It’s my fountain of youth, and I love seeing how great it makes people feel!” Deb teaches Pilates Mat, Reformer, Barre and Tabata.

Katie Redden
Katie has taught Pilates in the Vail Valley for 9 years. Her passion for high impact sports; trail running, swimming, skiing, and chasing her young daughters around, led Katie on a search for a low impact activity that included some stretching and lengthening. Pilates has helped her build core strength and deepen her knowledge of movement to keep her injury free and help with personal imbalances. She believes that Pilates is an effective and invigorating practice with benefits that extend to all aspects of her students’ lives and passions. “. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the many benefits of Pilates with my students,” she says.

Kim Strauch
Kim has been an avid practitioner of Pilates for over fifteen years and holds a Comprehensive Certification in Pilates from BASI (Body Arts and Sciences International), encompassing repertoire for students of all levels on the reformer, cadillac, chair, barrels, and mat. She enjoys working with clients of all ages seeking general conditioning, athletic training, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. Outside the Pilates studio, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, and their three teenage boys.
